Textures
A File Gallery of Textures. While this could technically go into the Graphics - Raster Gallery, due to the number of entries it gets its own gallery.
The Textures Gallery has two classifications, Seamless and Nonseamles.
Seamless - The edges of a seamless texture blend together, instead of showing the hard edges of the image. This allows the texture to be repeated infinitely without showing its edges. This is a very useful type of inmage for renderings and models when, for example, a concrete texture is used on a surface. That texture can be repeated infinitely without the edges of the texture image appearing in the rendering.
Nonseamless - These images still have their edges. If they are used in a repeated pattern in programs like GIMP, Photoshop, or a 3D modeling program, the edges will be very apparent.
