Change Order

Change Order


A change order is a change to the Contract Documents after the execution of the contract. A change order must be signed by the designer and the owner, and may or may not include an addition or reduction to the cost or time of the project.

A change order differs from a Contract Change Directive in that the contractor may not agree to the change in sum or time in a Contract Change Directive.
